Cotchett firm announces $197 million settlement in price-fixing lawsuit

A $197 million round of settlements has been announced by Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy LLP to resolve allegations that freight companies conspired to fix global shipping prices.

LLP to resolve allegations that freight companies conspired to fix global shipping
prices.


The second settlement round brings the total award garnered for the putative class
to more than $300 million.
