Internet TV streaming service eligible for copyright license

U.S. District Judge George H. Wu ruled Thursday that FilmOnX, LLC are entitled to a cable retransmission license if they can qualify. Wu stayed the decision and sent the case up for immediate appeal to the Ninth Circuit.

streaming service FilmOn X LLC is eligible to pursue a cable retransmission license,
setting up further appellate court battles with the four major broadcast networks.
