Securities fraud settlement held up over claims form issues

A Los Angeles Superior Court Judgedid not sign off on a $3.5 million agreement between investors and accounting firm O'Connor Davies Munns & Dobbins LLP over allegedly misleading hedge fund audit reports.

A $3.5 million settlement between 55 investors and the accounting firm they accused
of producing misleading hedge fund audit reports that led to $40 million in losses
was stymied Tuesday over concerns that the release language preventing class members
from bringing suit in the future was overbroad.
