Racism Takes the Wheel

Despite its repeated denials that its officers engage in the abhorrent and illegal practice of racial profiling, the Los Angeles Police Department's long-standing custom of racial profiling continues unabated. The reason is LAPD Chief Bernard C. Parks, who perhaps is the only member of any racial minority who does not believe or refuses to understand that any decisions made by police based on race constitute racial profiling.
