Wilson Sonsini: UTAH'S NOVELL TO GIVE STOCK FOR CAMBRIDGE TECHNOLOGY

Network software provider Novell Inc. will buy Cambridge Technology Partners Inc. The stock deal is worth $266 million. Provo, Utah's Novell makes the NetWare network server operating system, which connects desktop personal computers to corporate networks. The company also makes ManageWise network management software and GroupWise collaborative software, along with applications to connect networks to the Internet and corporate intranets.
