$107 Million Jury Award in Anti-Abortion Case Rejected
SAN FRANCISCO - Saying the Constitution protects even extreme rhetoric, a federal appeals court Wednesday threw out a $107 million award against anti-abortion activists, finding that their "baby butcher" portrayal of doctors in "wanted" posters was protected free speech.
