Munger Tolles Partner Tapped to Be Ambassador to Argentina

Munger, Tolles & Olson partner and civil rights veteran Vilma S. Martinez has been nominated as the ambassador to Argentina, the White House announced late Wednesday.

WASHINGTON - Munger, Tolles & Olson partner and civil rights veteran Vilma S. Martinez has been nominated as the ambassador to Argentina, the White House announced late Wednesday.

Before joining the Los Angeles-based firm in 1982, Martinez was president and general counsel of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund for nearly a decade.
