Prosecutors Seek to Divulge Lawyer's Plea

Trial lawyer Pierce O'Donnell pleaded no contest to state court allegations that he made illegal campaign contributions to James Hahn's 2001 bid for Los Angeles mayor. He is facing similar allegations in federal court.

LOS ANGELES - Federal prosecutors seeking to convict attorney Pierce O'Donnell for alleged illegal campaign contributions have asked a judge to admit at the lawyer's upcoming trial a no contest plea he made in 2006 in state court to similar violations stemming from James Hahn's 2001 bid for the Los Angeles mayoralty.
