Chrysler Seeks To Shed Liability In Bankruptcy

Bankrupt automaker Chrysler LLC is seeking to emerge from Chapter 11 having shed liability for past and future injuries occurring in Chrysler cars already on the road. A lawyer for Chrysler tort victims say that amounts to $700 million in potential damage awards.
