9th Circuit Upholds Death Row Conviction Despite Dissents

A 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals judge warned Monday that California may be on the verge of executing an innocent man, even as a majority of the court upheld death row inmate Kevin Cooper's long-disputed conviction.

A 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals judge warned Monday that California may be on the verge of executing an innocent man, even as a majority of the court upheld death row inmate Kevin Cooper's long-disputed conviction.

Cooper has claimed he was framed for the 1983 knife-and-hatchet murders of four Chino Hills residents.
