Arthur Kinoy Was Proudly Boisterous Fighter

SAN FRANCISCO - It was 1966, and the House Un-American Activities Committee was grilling student anti-war protesters during a hearing on Capitol Hill. One of their lawyers, the late Arthur Kinoy, stood up to argue his right to cross-examine witnesses. The committee's acting chairman told him to sit down and, when Kinoy refused, ordered him arrested. Marshals dragged Kinoy from the room.
