A fresh effort by civil rights groups to roll back California's ban on affirmative action got nowhere Monday at the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Voting 3-0, a circuit panel held its hands were tied by an earlier decision that upheld the ban. Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action v. Brown, 2012 DJDAR 4257.
