Google chooses Kasowitz over Latham in new patent fight

In its fight against patent infringement claims by the University of California and a Texas-based licensing company, Google Inc. has retained Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman LLP rather than ex-Kasowitz partner and former trial counsel Douglas E.
