Automakers Hyundai Motor America and Kia Motors America announced a $400 million settlement Monday with plaintiffs in a class action alleging false fuel economy claims impacting the manufacturers' 2011 through 2013 fleet of vehicles. According to numbers released by the companies, Hyundai will pay out $210 million and Kia will pay out an additional $185 million in lump sum payments.
