Firm loses arbitration bid after litigating for six months

Korean media concern waived right by delaying arbitration request, appeals court says.

A California appeals court ruled Wednesday that a Korean media conglomerate waived its right to arbitration through "substantial use of the litigation process" in defending charges that it diluted stock prices while trying to purchase an additional stake in a subsidiary company.
