Old laws applied to new issue in AG's revenge-porn arrest

The arrest is the first of its kind, the office said, and comes on the heels of a recently passed law barring sexually explicit photos of victims. But the state charged the case under laws already on the books.

Authorities on Tuesday arrested a San Diego man who allegedly operated a so-called "revenge porn" website that allowed users to post sexually explicit photos of women - often those submitted by former boyfriends or ex-husbands, - along with their identifying information.
