DLA Piper guides $350 million Santa Monica sale

Lawyers say EdgeCast Networks Inc.'s sale to Verizon Communications Inc. is a major victory for the region.

DLA Piper advised Santa Monica-based digital content delivery company EdgeCast Networks Inc. in its sale to Verizon Communications Inc. this week, a Silicon Beach deal reportedly worth more than $350 million. Lawyers say the acquisition is one of the biggest yet out of Los Angeles' budding technology hub.
