A group of defendants associated with disrupting PayPal Inc.'s services in a cyberattack pled guilty in federal court in San Jose last week.
The 13 individuals coordinated an effort temporarily shutting down PayPal's website in response to the company's decision to prohibit the website Wikileaks from using the payment site to accept donations. A few of the individuals pled guilty to felonies for conspiracy, and the rest to multiple misdemeanors.
