SACRAMENTO - Gov. Jerry Brown announced the appointments of 18 new judges Thursday, including two Republicans.
The new slate includes 16 Democrats and two Republicans with experiences that run the gamut - private attorneys, deputy district attorneys, public defenders and municipal lawyers.
