eBay and PayPal get new GCs pre-split

PayPal and eBay have both announced the appointment of new general counsel in advance of their upcoming split into separate publicly traded companies.

In the midst of preparations to separate from parent company eBay Inc. later this year, PayPal announced Monday the appointment of Louise Pentland as its new general counsel. The announcement comes just days after a similar announcement from eBay, where Marie Oh Huber is replacing Michael Jacobsen as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.
