Pao loss could pour cold water on plaintiffs' lawyers
Ellen Pao's defeat could set the bar higher for taking gender discrimination suits or taking those cases to a jury trial.

After years of litigation and a monthlong trial, the one inescapable fact remains that venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers defeated all of Ellen Pao's claims.
