9th Circuit refuses to block prosecution of medical marijuana dispensary owner

A 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday denied an unusual motion by an owner of a marijuana dispensary asking the court to order the government to stop prosecuting his case.

A 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday denied an unusual motion by an owner of a Morro Bay medical marijuana dispensary asking the court for "an order directing the Department of Justice to cease spending funds defending, cross-appealing, and otherwise prosecuting" his case.
