Jerry A. Ramsey, a Los Angeles lawyer and passionate trial advocate best known for his zealous work in insurance bad faith, died on April 7. He was 79.


Colleagues remember the retired partner of Engstrom, Lipscomb & Lack as one of the top trial attorneys in the country; Ramsey tried more than 200 cases and served as an expert witness and consultant in roughly 250 others.
