LOS ANGELES - Edgar Hightower, a Daily Journal employee for more than half a century, has died. Hightower died in his sleep at his home in South Pasadena on Sunday. He was 80 and still working a 40-hour week at the Daily Journal's Los Angeles office at the time of his death.
