FPPC Fines Former Chief For Funds Used on Porsche

SACRAMENTO - A former chairman of the Fair Political Practices Commission, whose ethics and leadership were questioned by critics when he was head of the agency, has agreed to pay a $23,000 penalty for illegally using campaign funds to paint and refurbish his luxury sports car.
