Building Conflict

On Aug. 1, the jury returned a verdict in Tutor-Saliba-Perini J.V. v. Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority , BC123559 (L.A. Super. Ct., verdict Aug. 1, 2001). After the judge ordered them to find in favor of the Metropolitan Transit Authority, the jury gave the MTA $29,567,407 in damages and penalties on 23 of the 24 submitted issues.
