Trial begins in case brought against BP by franchisees

A case brought against BP West Coast Products in May 2011 alleging bad faith business practices concerning point-of-sale and inventory software as well as gasoline pricing began trial on Wednesday with jury selection.

LOS ANGELES - Jury selection began Wednesday in a case bought by franchisees against
BP West Coast Productions over the cost of gas and software they say they are forced
to buy.


Opening statements are expected to begin late Thursday or Friday, attorneys said.
