4th District offers novel approach to Prop. 47 case

A 4th District Court of Appeal panel ruling late Monday brings some clarification to a murky area of Proposition 47.

An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated the authors of the opinion in People v. Awad. The authors were the justices of Division 3 of the 4th District Court of Appeal consisting of Acting Presiding Justice William F. Rylaarsdam, Justice Richard D. Fybel, and Justice David A. Thompson. The Daily Journal regrets the error.
