Wilson Sonsini snags Chevron's first woman officer as of counsel

Lydia I. Beebe, who has spent the past 20 years as corporate secretary and chief governance officer of Chevron Corp., joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati PC's San Francisco office on Monday.

Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati PC announced Monday the appointment of Lydia I.
Beebe as of counsel in the firm's San Francisco office. Beebe has spent the past
20 years as corporate secretary and chief governance officer of San Ramon-based Chevron
Corp., where she served as the energy giant's first woman officer.
