State DMV will now release full official crash reports for self-driving car tests

The California Department of Motor Vehicles has said that it will release full accident reports on crashes involving self-driving cars that are being tested on public roads.

Following criticism from a consumer rights group, the Department of Motor Vehicles
has decided to release complete accident reports on crashes involving self-driving
vehicles being tested on California roads. Seven companies are currently testing 48
vehicles in California using 227 drivers.
