State FPPC Simplifies Conflict Rules

SACRAMENTO - The state Fair Political Practices Commission has ended its two-year review of arcane conflict-of-interest regulations for public officials by adopting new regulations designed to make the process easier to follow and avoid disqualifying officials from voting.
