Lawyer Criticizes Schools' Focus
LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Unified School District should not concentrate on ways to protect itself from liability in the Belmont Learning Complex fiasco but should strive to meet environmental standards that would make such lawsuits unnecessary, an attorney with the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund said.
