Pillsbury's Partners OK Merger
It's official. San Francisco's 126-year-old Pillsbury Madison & Sutro law firm will open for business as Pillsbury Winthrop on Jan. 2. Pillsbury Madison and New York's Winthrop Stimson Putnam & Roberts wrapped up their partner votes on Monday morning. Though they're both keeping their specific vote tallies private, "yea" emerged the clear winner on the firms' whether-to-merge ballots.
