Medical researchers have long suspected that stress can lead to heart attacks. On Friday, Gloria Allred's legal team was able to prove it to a Los Angeles jury, which awarded nearly $5.5 million to an Egyptian-born physician who suffered a heart attack after he was denied admission to an internship program at a Los Angeles County-run medical center, allegedly because he was too old.
