Winston & Strawn, McKenna Long & Aldridge win titles

The Landau Lawyers Softball League crowned two champions Dec. 7 with the men's and coed divisions wrapping up their seasons at Stoner Recreation Center. Both divisions featured competitive games that could have gone either way. In the coed division, Winston & Strawn LLP defeated Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP 11-7 with Adriana Galindo taking home the MVP honors for the winning squad. In the men's division, McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP faced off against Kirkland & Ellis LLP with both sides displaying potent offense. Ultimately, McKenna Long proved to be too much, edging Kirkland & Ellis 23-18 behind home runs from Max Del Rey, who swatted two long balls, and Henry Leyba.
