Your article Wednesday ("Tenant-projection law under fire," April 25) about an effort to protect tenants living in foreclosed properties was a fairly balanced approach to the subject ordinance. I was a City of Merced Council Member from 2007 until December and was present at all meetings regarding the proposed ordinance and voted for it the final time after another public hearing.
