Misleading coverage of NLRB case

Re: "Scrutiny grows over truckers' listing as employees or contractors," April 2. By Ronald W. Novotny

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR COLUMN

The article "Scrutiny grows over truckers' listing as employees or contractors" (April 2) incorrectly suggests that the National Labor Relations Board determined the "employee status" of the company's drivers. Like the regional director in Chicago who recently decided that certain student athletes at Northwestern University could potentially be found to constitute employees under the federal labor law, Region 21 in Los Angeles ...
