Longtime Los Angeles judge, appellate justice has died

William A. Masterson, a prominent figure in the Los Angeles legal scene for more than 40 years and former appellate court justice, has died at the age of 82.

William A. Masterson, a prominent figure in the Los Angeles legal scene for more than 40 years and former appellate court justice, has died at the age of 82.


The cause of his March 11 death was cancer.
