In new post, former FBI director to visit California 'regularly'

Robert S. Mueller joined WilmerHale on Monday as a Washington, D.C.-based partner. But with a teaching appointment at Stanford University, he will also be a common fixture in the firm's Palo Alto and Los Angeles offices.

Former FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III, who led the bureau's transition into a counterterrorism agency, has joined Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP as a partner, the firm announced Monday.
