Law firm event highlights brand-building

Attorneys, managing partners and other law firm leaders gathered March 4 to hear from speaker and author David Avrin about building a brand for their law firms, part of the Law Firm Leadership Forum held by the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (OC-ALA) at the Pacific Club in Newport Beach. Arvin spoke on what it takes to promote a firm and maintain a competitive advantage in the legal field. Steering clear of cliches and frequently used buzzwords were among the tips he offered. Arvin, who markets himself as "The Visibility Coach," also presented marketing strategies. "The Law Firm Leadership Forum is an excellent opportunity for legal administrators and law firm leaders to acquire additional tools and expertise to better manage and promote their law firms," said OC-ALA Board President-elect Theresa Lawrence. — Alexandra Schwappach
