Cooley hires former venture capital executive in Palo Alto

The firm welcomed long-time venture capitalist and experienced corporate attorney James N. Strawbridge to its Palo Alto office as partner.

PALO ALTO - Cooley LLP welcomed longtime venture capitalist and experienced corporate attorney James N. Strawbridge to its office here as a partner in the business and finance practice group, the firm said Tuesday. Strawbridge is joining Cooley from San Mateo-based Worldview Technology Partners, after serving as the venture capital firm's chief operating officer and general partner for nearly 13 years.
