California Judges Association Selects Leader From Plumas

Plumas County Superior Court Presiding Judge Ira R. Kaufman, a former public defender, will be the new president of the California Judges Association.

      Plumas County Superior Court Presiding Judge Ira R. Kaufman, a former public defender, will be the new president of the California Judges Association.
      Kaufman, 59, the judicial advocacy group's 76th leader, was chosen Wednesday by the organization's executive board at a meeting in Sacramento.
