Shapiro Likely to Settle Case for $450,000
LOS ANGELES - Defense attorney Robert L. Shapiro will pay $450,000 over several years in a settlement with the receiver for investors who were scammed by a phony loan company, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge tentatively ruled Monday.
