A state appellate court Monday shot down actor Robert Wagner's bid to sue Columbia Pictures for half the profits of the two "Charlie's Angels" movies.
Wagner claims he was entitled to a cut of the box office proceeds because of the role he played in developing the 1970s' "Charlie's Angels" television series on which the movies were based.
