Supreme Courts Docket Is Small, But Blockbuster
WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court's docket for the 1999-2000 term is short on quantity but long on quality. "I think this will be a blockbuster term,'' said Erwin Chemerinsky, a constitutional scholar at the University of Southern California Law School. "There is not a whole lot on the docket number-wise, but the federalism and First Amendment cases are very significant.''
