Suspended Cop Takes Immunity In Framing Case

Suspended Rampart CRASH officer Humberto Tovar has been granted limited-use immunity by prosecutors in an effort to shore up their case against the first three officers charged in the city's worst police corruption scandal, Tovar's attorney said Thursday.
