Judge Declines Global Pact in Trans Union Suit
SAN FRANCISCO - Rejecting a proposed $15 million global settlement for a potential class of 190 million people as unrealistic, a federal judge has told lawyers not to bother spending $450,000 to notify the class members about the proposed deal. The suit challenges sales of consumer credit data by a national credit bureau.
