George Calls for Judicial Pay Hike

SACRAMENTO - In his annual state of the judiciary address, Chief Justice Ronald M. George Tuesday urged lawmakers to increase judicial salaries by at least 5 percent, saying a pay raise is essential to attract and retain highly qualified jurists.
