SAN FRANCISCO - The California Supreme Court agreed Wednesday to review the validity of a voter-approved ban on same-sex marriage, but refused to lift the ban in the meantime.
The justices also agreed to examine what happens to the same-sex marriages that have taken place in the event that Proposition 8 stands.
