Raphael Cotkin, 1939-2008

Firm heartbroken over co-founder’s death.

LOS ANGELES - Raphael Cotkin, who co-founded the firm Cotkin & Collins in 1978, jumped to his death Monday morning from the roof of a 12-story downtown hotel in what police declared a suicide. He was 69.

LAPD detectives said Wednesday that they were still investigating.
